Advantages
The biOrb LIFE 45 is supplied as a coldwater aquarium. It is suitable for fantail goldfish but looks really stunning with a group of tropical fish of the same species such as neon tetras or tiger barbs.
You can decorate the lower part of the aquarium and these type of fish will occupy mostly the upper part. To keep tropical fish you simply need to add a heater. Use either the biOrb heater pack or our Intelligent Heater.
Like all biorbs, the biOrb LIFE 45 uses special ceramic media to provide biological filtration, which has a surface area equivalent to the size of a football pitch. Any excess waste is collected and held in a filter cartridge at the base of the biOrb.
To maintain your biOrb LIFE all you need to do is simply replace the filter cartridge every four weeks and change a third of the water.
This biOrb LIFE aquarium is supplied with an Intelligent LED light which automatically replicates a natural 24 hour light cycle.
For your peace of mind, the lights and pump are low voltage and are backed by a 12 month guarantee. The aquarium itself is made from acrylic which is ten times stronger than glass.

Multi-Coloured Remote-Controlled LED Light
Cleverly designed to hide the waterline, the biOrb HALO 30 is a visually seamless aquarium that comes with Multi-Colour remote controlled lighting. You can switch to any of the sixteen pre-set colours with the touch of a button as well as control its brightness.
What's more, it is an automatic setting which simulates a natural light cycle for your fish. An in-built timer phases the light through a 24 hour period from daylight to moonlight and back again. Simply choose from the 8, 10 and 12 hour daylight settings and the MCR light will do the rest.
You can leave it running 24/7, so if you are late home or away on holiday your fish's routine is not disturbed.
